What data we keep and how to delete it

We keep what we need to compare prices, send your alerts and bill stores for clicks, and you can download or delete your data from your account page.

Analytics

Our page counter sets no cookie. It counts page types, such as "a product page", not which product and not what you searched. Until you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we only count anonymous visits and page views. With your consent we also count searches, click-throughs to stores and alerts created, still without any identifier. You can change your choice under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

When you click through to a store

We record:

• which offer and store, and when;
• where on Sooqly you clicked;
• a random id this browser keeps in a cookie;
• scrambled (hashed) versions of your IP address and browser details;
• the page you came from;
• whether the click looked automated.

We use this to count valid clicks and bill stores. If you are signed in, the click is linked to your account.

Cookies we set

Your language, your emirate, your guest device key, your sign-in, your cookie choice and the random click id. None of them is used for advertising.

Download your data

On your account page, choose Download my data. You get your profile, alerts, lists, confirmed contacts, your most recent notifications and click-throughs, your consent choices, your newsletter and voucher e-mail settings and your support messages.

Delete your account

On your account page, choose Delete account and type DELETE. We delete at once your alerts, devices, lists, profile, confirmed contacts, newsletter and voucher e-mail sign-ups, the files you sent to support, and your sign-in. Your support conversations stay without your name and e-mail address, so the history of what we answered is kept. Click records stay without any link to you, because stores are billed per click. Reviews are never linked to an account, so they stay published.
