Delivery, VAT and cross-border costs

The total we show is the item price plus delivery to your emirate and, for items shipped from abroad, our estimate of customs and import VAT.

How the total is built

• Item price, as the store shows it. Prices from UAE stores include VAT.
• Delivery for one item to your emirate, from the delivery rules the store gives us: a flat fee, free delivery above an order value, or a fee per emirate. When a store has not given us delivery rules, we show free delivery.
• For items shipped from abroad:
  • customs duty of 5% of the item price, when the item costs more than AED 1,000.00;
  • import VAT of 5% on the item price, delivery and customs together.

Offers are sorted by this total.

Which emirate we assume

Dubai, until you choose another one. Change it with Deliver to above the list of offers on any product page, or on your account page. We remember your choice in this browser.

Why cross-border costs are estimates

Offers shipped from abroad carry an Estimated label, and so do offers priced in another currency, which we convert every day. Customs and import VAT follow the rules above, but the seller's checkout confirms the final amount. It can differ, for example when the seller collects the charges differently or the rules change.
